DigiWaves Kick-off Meeting in Bilbao, Spain

We are excited to be partnering in the newly launched EU project, DigiWaves! The kick-off meeting was hosted by project partner AZTI in Bilbao, in October 2026, where all partners were gathered for 3 days.

Funded by the EU programme for research and innovation (Horizon Europe), Digiwaves supports the digital transformation of European fisheries by addressing the needs and challenges of small-scale fisheries (SSF), long-distance fisheries (LDF) and recreational fisheries (RF).

The vision of the DigiWaves project is a future where SSF, LDF, and RF are fully integrated into a transparent, efficient, trusted, and data-driven European fisheries management system.

Anchor lab is one of 20 participating project partners from 9 European countries, and we look forward to contributing to the project.
